Our story
Karen
Meet Karen, a visionary artist and entrepreneur who transforms the worlds of fashion design, creative direction, and adornment into a singular, arresting narrative.
Karen has traversed the globe, guided by the stories told through clothing and accessories. Her aesthetic and philosophy are inspired by life on the road, and encounters with indigenous cultures crafting deeply personal, spiritually significant artefacts.
Starting with a boutique clothing brand that expanded internationally, Karen transitioned to couture headwear, training as a milliner at Chelsea and Kensington School of Art with distinction. Her creations have graced catwalks, Mario Testino shoots, the pages of Elle magazine, and Rockstar Games.
In 2015, Karen achieved recognition when she entered a global entrepreneurship competition, Creative Startups, earning the prestigious award for Best Pitch while competing with the internationally renowned Meow Wolf.
Over recent years, Karen has become an in-demand art director, steering magazine editorials, designer lookbooks, and shaping the vision of avant-garde music videos.
Karen stands at the crossroads of art, fashion, and design, crafting a vibrant tapestry of creativity and innovation. Her mission is to reanimate the world through The Art of Play.
Lou
With a background in high-end retail makeup, and collaborating with global brands such as Benefit and Bobby Brown, Lou's journey evolved as she pursued formal training at the esteemed London College of Fashion.
Lou's passion for colour and contemporary art has been a driving force since the very beginning, where she displayed an innate talent for creating, drawing, and painting.
Her path following LCF guided her into the realms of music and television, where she established her name in makeup and body artistry. From the radiant shores of Ibiza to West End productions, fashion magazines, the stages of music festivals, extravagant soirées, and star-studded events, Lou has etched an indelible mark.
In recent years, Lou's passion for design has led to headwear and workshops that seamlessly blend with her makeup artistry. Through this fusion, she discovered the power of fashion, accessories, and makeup - complete adornment - for empowering individuals through aesthetic transformation. Louise dedicates herself to helping others unleash their best selves through her creative talents.
